Few Suggestions Options

Alright I have a few suggestions, just for the forums.

1) Separating the Feedback section - It's a good section, but it was supposed to be meant for feedback as in what you think of this server. Don't get me wrong the topics are good and a lot of the suggestions should be looked at, but I think it'd be better if that had it's own section.

2) Removal of the shoutbox - As fun as this thing is, I'm going to have to say it should be taken off. The purpose of it was good and this server really needed it, but unfortunately it's always misused. Nobody even bothers to read any of the help topics because they think staying in the damn shoutbox and waiting for someone to answer something they can find out themselves is more effective.

3) Clean up the forums - The shoutbox isn't the only reason people are having trouble though, some actually try and do things themselves. Unfortunately these forums have so much clutter that it gets confusing. Multiple downloads, a billion guides, and it doesn't seem like the forum moderators are even doing their jobs. I haven't seen any of them do anything in the past few weeks.

4) Rate Guide Threads - This one is just for the Guide section. I hate going into a thread and finding out the guide is a total failure. I've seem some forums with some threads that have from 1-5 stars next to them as a rating. If we could somehow implement that then we could waste so much less time scrolling through good builds that we might plan on using to further our own builds, or use them as they are if we're feeling lazy and unoriginal.


These are just a few of my suggestions, I might edit this or make another thread because I have about 3-4 suggestions that I wanted to include but forgot.

Multiple downloads, a billion guides, and it doesn't seem like the forum moderators are even doing their jobs. I haven't seen any of them do anything in the past few weeks.

Good suggestions AJ, but I don't think this forum is compatible with the whole rating system you said in #4. Maybe a subform would be better, as in (when we actually get some moderators...) if a guide has been deemed useful, it goes in there (similar to the class build's topic that...well, died awhile ago). Also, on the topic of the guides section, more subforms! Separate builds and ACTUAL guides. How are new players supposed to find things "How to unstuck my character" when there's 500 sinx and champ builds in front of it turning it quickly into a necro topic =/. (Although, that IS what the megathread is for...hardly anyone uses it properly.)

I think it will be more organize if there are sub-forums in each class in the Guide Section.

-Sinx Builds
-Champ Builds
-etc
